Local documents
The core desktop editor stores diagrams and settings on your Mac without requiring an application account. Documents may contain schema definitions, descriptions, notes and document-specific AI conversations. We do not operate a central document storage service for the desktop editor.
Optional AI requests
After you grant permission for the destination and purpose, when you use AI editing or import repair, your request and relevant schema context are sent to the provider or proxy you configure. The API key authenticates the request. A connection test sends a short test prompt, not your diagram. Provider retention, processing locations and deletion practices depend on the service and your agreement. Core editing works without AI.
Local network sharing
Sharing makes selected diagrams and team chat available to people who can connect to your host. Private AI conversations and notes are excluded from shared documents. Viewers may export independent copies. Use sharing only on a trusted network. Sharing uses unencrypted HTTP without individual user authentication. Hosts can remove messages and block a sender’s IP; viewers can report and hide messages. Chat and block records disappear when sharing stops.
Storage and deletion
Documents and settings remain in local storage until removed. The macOS app stores API keys in macOS Keychain; browser editions use browser local storage. Home → Settings → AI lets you delete a saved key or revoke AI transmission permission. Uninstalling the app may leave Keychain entries; delete saved keys before uninstalling. Delete documents from Home and manage exported files separately. Contact your AI provider about records it retains. Uninstalling the app does not erase exported copies or provider-side records.
This website
This website does not use advertising, visitor analytics scripts or a signup form. It is hosted on Vercel, which processes request information such as IP addresses and technical logs to deliver and secure the site. Fonts and product screenshots are served with the website. Email and GitHub support requests are processed by their respective service providers; include only the information needed to answer your request.

The desktop app uses selected-file access for import and export and local network access for sharing. We update this page when the described practices change. App Store privacy disclosures and provider-specific terms should be reviewed alongside this information.
